No, holly sucks. To many parts, too many leaks. I prefer Quadrajets. The best carb hands down for daily driving and mild performance...

I'd recommend a Model T for you. I'm surprised you have such a new truck. :D

No offense.

Remember his truck doesn't have a carb :-laf

On a Q-Jet - either they work or they suck - period. Holly carbs, reliable and easy to do whatever - did I mention cost effectiveness?

I have way to many passes on both qjets and Holly junk before I got a real race car(no doors, you know injection is neat but I'd rather be blown :-laf ) The whole purpose of a carb is to be able to change to existing conditions, something a double pumper did not do and the vacuum secondary barley did. You cannot even compare a closed loop injected system to any carb'd application and even the old Holly throttle body changed for air density and demand better than any regular Holly's. Holly made a lot of after market tuners rich with there poor designs. If I had known you can make HP this easy I would have had a diesel dragster 20 yrs ago.

Well I can tell you from my recent trip that the main truck stop in Minot ND only has LSD only and was very upset when I asked for ULSD. From pictures posted and personal inspection the C&C has the two components of the DPF welded together and no it does not have an EGR valve. The C&C has a different version of software which so far has not needed to be updated according to my tech at Southtown Chrysler.
