Big Bob, I did just what I've been doing copy and paste and it didn't work until I edit the post and then it was there. There has got to be a way around it but I'm not the one that would know how to do it. I'll ask my wife(the computer expert in the family) later. #ad

The way the TDR server works it won't let you store the url for graphics in your sig,you will have to add it each time.
 
Thank guys, I think from my reading that an edited animation has to be saved to your ISP as a ftp file. This mean that I will have to contact my ISP and open up a ftp account. Is that right?

drawson, in reponse to the image not showing up without editing, that is the way signatures that are stored on the TDR server are configured. The imgage tag is not supported in a signature. The reason it works after you edit is the text of the post "becomes" main text, which is permissable.

I will repost instructions that I had previously posted on getting image locations, incase this is what you aren't understanding.
In Internet Explorer (I use 5. 0):
Go up to the image in any post or web page. Right click it. You will get a pop-up menu. Hit properties. There will be a line in that box that shows Address(URL)
Take your mouse and point it past the right end of the address. Now left click and hold. Drag the mouse to the left end of the address. Now the address will be blue (highlighted). Let go of the left mouse button. Now point at the blue, right click. Now you have another pop-up menu. Hit copy. Finally, hit cancel on the original window.
Now when you post, all you have to do is type #ad
.
In Netscape (I use 4. 7):
Go up to the image in any post or web page. Right click it. You will get a pop-up menu. Hit copy image location. Now when you post, all you have to do is type #ad
.

Other copy and paste keyboards shortcuts are:
copy - "ctrl+insert" or "ctrl+c"
paste - "shift+insert" or "ctrl+v"
cut - "shift+del" or "ctrl+x"

Example: "ctrl+c" means highlight the text and then hold "ctrl" and press "c".

If you add an image to your signature, the edit, resubmit is no big deal. You are already doing that to get your font colors. If you want to eliminate the "edited by" line that is created by this procedure, you may use the little program I have to store your signature on your own hard drive. I know there is other people on this board using it #ad

I think you may of misunderstood me. I found a animation on the web, then I edited or modified it. I can save it to my hard-drive but it is not in a format where I can post it. That's why I think I have to save it as a FTP (File Transfer Protocol) to my server. That way it is ready for me to use in the modified form whenever I want it.

Oh no I just remembered that the website I got the animation from stated that I would have to save it through FTP to the server because after 3 hours it deletes the modified animation.

Oh well I'll see what happens tomorrow in a post.

Bob, You are right, I didn't understand that. Save the picture to your hard drive and then just add it in to your photos that you have at photopoint. I uploaded an animated gif to photopoint about 20 minutes ago, but am still waiting on it. #ad
If for some reason photopoint won't allow animated gifs, go to Zing. Photopoint should work though. Below is one that I have on Zing.

As a suggestion, you may want to take that picture over to Zing. They don't seem to put their banner across the top like Photopoint does. The original image without the banner was 72 x 55 pixels and was 1862 bytes. After Photopoint was done, it became 138 x 69 pixels and is 3410 bytes. For illustrative purposes, I put the original picture on Zing. Big difference isn't it?

I got the shaken Ram from somewhere on the internet, I don't remember where #ad

As far as Zing being slow, I never actually put any pictures in an album. I only ever had them at the very beginning after the initial upload.
