Tested my dash lights..COOL! any more coool tricks??

Before i got out of my truck i did the dash test where you hold the odometer button and turn the key. . Looked like the 4th of july in front of my eyes . I also figured out i have 308 hrs on my truck with 7075 miles... Average speed = 22... Alot of city driving. .



Anyone know any other cool tricks?

for dash lights = how down odometer button and turb the key 3 times



For hours Hold mode down and turn the key on... either that or you hold the odometer button and hold mode down for 3 seconds... i forgot which one worked. .

Also...

And to read stored codes just turn on key three times-they will display on odometer, and then display done...

Mine said code cleared after i did the dash test. . I dont think i had any codes anyway though. .

I wonder if that means that there were codes that were cleared sometime-I can't imagine that the test you did cleared them...



The only code in mine is P0514 (Battery Temperature Sensor Performance / Rationality) which is probably bogus.
