My ABS light and brake light are coming on. I have come up with a trouble code that takes me to the wheel speed sensor. I unpluged it on top of the axle and put the ohm meter on it. It shows 0 ohms. The manual says it should read between 1000 and 2500.

Is there any difference in testing it on top of the axle vs at the connector block under the dash? If not I think I found my problem.

Hook up an analog ohm meter to the sensor and rotate the axle, the needle should sweep up and down as the axle turns.
