Any interest in a St. Louis Area TDR Chapter?

TDR in Sweden

Well, it was an AWESOME time! I surprised myself, running a 9. 92 in the 1/8 mile @ 73 MPH... not too bad for a daily driver 8,000 lb truck! Now I am waiting to see pics!!!!

Chris posted the pics HERE

I'd like to thanks everyone that came out to race and watch.

I think we have a lot of interest. Now we are shooting for an April date at the track for a DHRA (Diesel Hot Rod Assoc. ) event.

Yeah, Chris's truck was pretty impressive, but he forgot to tell everyone about the little BMW that beat him over and over and over. I can't really say much though, cause he ran away from me several times down the track. All in all it was a good day at the track, I will try to get my pics posted as soon as possible.

*sniff sniff*

Smells like Dodge Country!

We had a great time and Chris definately has the bug for racing. Getting in to the 9's on his first night out is awsome to say the least.

We got a few kinks worked out of the truck after reviewing some video and are ready to make some more changes for the positive.

Oh man, more Ford folks! ;)

FordChris, you messed up my cookies by registering!! :(

Wish I could have made it, but I was at work from 11am sunday, untill 2am monday morning.

too bad to don't have that "Password Save" feature on, because I clicked, "NO"!! :D

With the link given, at 73. 992 MPH in my truck, 7,860 lbs, with guesstimated 20% drivetrain loss, I am getting 432. 5 RWHP and 540. 6 at the flywheel... . Not too bad for stock weenie 215 injectors!!!! Chris... ... Thank you so much for taking the time to show me what I needed to do... I had a BLAST with all of the DIESEL INNOVATIONS people! I am waiting for the week to end so we can get together yet one more time!!! Just a Big thanks to the Houston Area Power Strokes people too for the invite as well!! Y'all take care, and I will be getting in touch with some of y'all before this week is over for some lodging accomodations!

Glad you made the trip and had a GREAT time. Part of DHRA's goal is to make sure everyone has an opportunity to enjoy a good time.

Keep an eye on TDR, we (DHRA) are shooting for a weekend of racing at Navasota in April. Just trying to get a date confirmed.

Our goal is to turn the track into a huge campground so we can make a weekend of it. More to come soon.

Just got off the phone with one of the Dallas guys. We are trying to put a late summer race together in Denton. Maybe with the North Texas guys dyno day, then race that evening.

Also trying to do the National DHRA Finals late in the year in the Dallas area. Hopefully Ennis.

March 8th, we will be in New Mexico for the Dash for Cash race.

More coming.

That would be great as long as it all times out, you know May Madness, Muncie. Denton would be great for me 2 hr drive, we could dyno at Mustang Works in Lewisville then run up to Denton and race that night. I'll be going to Lewisville before then I bet!
