Been hearing about the fires down your way! How are you all doing? C. D. Day, Bill Lins, Harvey Barlow, HHHuntitall! Last I heard it was 1. 5 million acres total. Hope you are all well and safe! GregH

the one west of DFW is around 150K acres and about 160 homes (as of a few days ago)

the smoke into DFW has been bad! i evened skipped a few outdoor things due to the smoke!



People holding fundraisers, and just trying to help the people and fire fighters out.

Firefights even 200 miles, in dfw, headed out there to help.

On the other hand, the fires way down south by i thin klein, burned a friends and his parents house about 2 weeks ago.

Makes every one thankfull for our safty, and property, i hope.

Thanks for thinking of us! We bailed out of Denton County this past Sunday (the 16th), I've got to teach at the Mississippi Fire School next week, so we missed most of the problems, but the smoke was gettin' bad on Saturday. Then at about 9PM the idiot that owns the Paintball Park, just north of HWY 114, started shooting off fireworks, with rockets going every where. Called Denton SO and even with a burn ban they could have cared less. - - so much for 911 when brainless people work there!!
