2001 Texas Rally was Great!!

Texas Rally images are posted here!

Yes Sir,

September 29th and 30th. Buckhorn Lake Resort.

Like Jim said, make sure you tell them you're with the LSTDR Texas rally. That way we get the rally rate.

Jim, that would be great if you could keep track of who's coming. If you want I can post a sign-up form on the LSTDR website and have the results sent to your e-mail. That was we can get all the info we need.

I'll e-mail you tonight.

Sounds good. Hopefully the new 3500 will be in by then and I can get the 5ver hitch installed, etc. Hey, that would be a good opportunity to get the gauges installed - anybody got the right drill bit and 1/8NPT tap? :D Of course, I wouldn't dare install the new Edge EZ I have sitting in the garage since I would never do anything to jeopardize my warranty! :p

We'll go ahead and call Buckhorn Lake Resort to make our reservations. Look forward to seeing everyone. :)

If I was Lance I would be chapped that you've known me 20+ years and still can't spell my name. I'll cut you some slack since its the first time that I can recall that you've spelled mine right. Looking forward to heading south to cook out, hang out, and talk trucks.

Darren

OK Guys,

I've got a page set-up on the LSTDR website that I will be changing as the schedule starts to come together. Whenever I make a significant update I'll post it here as well.

I've got a couple of things in the works right now that I'm sure you'll be pleased to hear if and when the details are finalized. Keep checking the website often for the updates

Hello All! It looks like this Rally will be great! I will definitely be there and have already made my reservations at the campground.

Curtis- I still have the guest book from last years rally... . would you like me to send it to you. I had actually thought about making flyers and sending them out to the list of attendees from last year. Let me know what you think. I was also wondering if you would like me to bring a PA system much like the system we had last last year.

Jim H. - Since you have been to this campground before ... do you think there will be plenty of seating or should I bring some extra chairs? Last year I brought around 50 chairs which seemed to work out nice. Let me know.

One last thing... . I spoke to Jerry Jardine of "Jardine Performance" who said that he would like to attend this years rally. I will see if he can bring some 4 inch exhaust systems for display or purchase.

Guys let me know if there is anything else I can to help... . I really enjoyed last years rally and look forward to this years.

Regards,

Lance Poole (Southbound)

That would be great Lance. Would you happen to have a copy ofthe vendors who attended last year as well?

The thread from last years event had been deleted for some reason. It would be nice if we could invite the foks that helped out last year.

Fortunatly, the facitlity we have this this year has a full P/A system for our use. Thanks so much for the offer.

Jerry Jardine is welcome to attend the rally this year. IT would be great to have them.

The facility has seating for 350 folks if the need arises. It would be nice if we could use them all but I don't think we will this year. Maybe next year though:)

Your doing what???

Okie,

I am suprised at you. :D In my 21 years, I have never skipped a day. Guess you have special powers being a teacher huh? I would love to make it, but I can't skip school, plus that's a LONG ways from Nacogdoches, where I'll be in the Fall.

It was nice meeting you, and TxRam Friday, thanks for letting me sit in on the injector install, may have to get myself a set after TxRam made it look so easy. The ride afterwards didn't help the urge either.

reservations count update

These are the reservations I know about for the campground:

Bill Stockard

Rusty Creekmore

Rowdy

Bill Tiner

Lance Poole

Richard Pulliam

MDW

S. A. Law

Mike Stricker

Darren Hyde

Okie-Go

It would be helpfull for planning to have you chime in if you are coming, (cummin?) but not camping.

I am a little torqued. I am the best man in a wedding in California the 29th of September. I am going to miss the rally. I tried to get them to change the date, bit it seems they also have been planning this shindig for a little while. Hate to miss it, but duty calls. Can't wait to hear about it.

Hey guys, I figured it out. I guess the reason Rd. runner needs a head count so bad is he is planning on cooking Texas sized T-bones for all of us that show up at the meet. I like mine medium rare.
