Omaha Gang - Next Meeting???

Curtis, There is no need to apologize to anyone who can't make the event. Let's face it, we all have obligations and other events that are more important than the LSTDR rally. I for one wont miss it for the world. If there is anything I can do to help out just let me know.

Dean

Hey Curtis

Same here, something else was scheduled for that weekend but it just got cancelled, priorities ya know. Last year was so fun I am not about to miss it.

Keep up the good work we all appreciate it a lot.

John

OK Guys,

I've got an online registration form all made up. I can stress how important it is that we get an accurate headcount. THe fine folks at Clear Lake Dodge have offered to cater or lunch on Saturday and I wan to be able to give them a good number so they can plan on how much stuff to buy.

We would also like to have name tags pre-printed for the rally so pre-registration is very important.

The online form can be found on the LSTDR rally page. This is also where I will be posting the schedule for the rally including any special guests.

Or you can just click here to go directly to the LSTDR Texas Rally 2002 registration page.

Texas TDR Rally

Curtis,

Good job! That's good news! As soon as I read your post a few minutes ago I registered with the LSSTDR and with the rv park. I'll see you there.

For anyone who missed the TX TDR rally last year, here is your chance to enjoy the great fall weather and beautiful scenery of the Texas Hill Country and to enjoy another great TDR event organized by the hard-working folks from the Lone Star TDR.

I've made my reservation to arrive on Thursday before the event starts so I can listen to all those noisy, rattling Cummins diesel engines as everyone arrives on Friday.

Harvey

No sir, that is just so I can keep count on how many people we can expect.

Thanks everyone for helping out with this. It'll help things run much smoother when the day comes.

If I'm able to make it, I'll bring my own lunch. "Fine" folks at . . . must have had a BIG turnover since the last time I was in there! Or maybe you haven't dealt with any of the service dept. Check out Fritz' site on dealer ratings - none of those comments are mine either!

Sorry, no offense Curtis, I know you are putting alot of time and work into this! That just struck a very sore spot with me.

None taken. I know several dealerships I wouldn't go near but some people love to deal with.

Hey Clint, from what I've heard, they have a a new GM there that is getting things up to par there. They were more than eager to help us out this year.

But, only time will tell how things will run there.

Hope you, and the missus and the youngun can make it.

BTW, I think I saw ya heading North on 45 the other day. You did get the new bumpers installed didn't ya?

Hey Curtis,

I would love to have a dealer this side of Madisonville that will do us right (for example, would actually work on my truck that had an appointment and stayed there for 2 days  ).

I got the bumpers on last Friday - I think it looks pretty dern good now. I was on I45 about 2-3pm last Saturday.

Are we gonna have breakfast this month? Where at?

Take care!

It might be too late, but have you talked to the folks at Henson in Madisonville? They drove the truck down and brought the papers to the house when I bought it. Very nice folks.

Andrew

I have sent many folks to Bossier Country in Fairfield, Texas and have NEVER had a complaint. They have also dropped shipped trucks for TDR members all over the US. and never a complaint. We need to call Deanna("Giggles") and tell her we are having a get together and see what "stuff" the dealership will send us!!!

Any chance the name tags will have "Screen Names" also, that would be cool to know who you are talking to.

Deezul1, this is Mrs. MDW. Yes, we are working on having Screen Names on the name tags. Just be sure to put your screen name in your pre-registration. If it's not filled out and I don't know your screen name, I will attempt to contact you before the Rally. Looking forward to seeing everyone again.
