Competition Thank you J&H for a great event!

I want to say thank you to the folks at J&H diesel performance in Redding. Harvey, Joel, Troy, and the rest of the gang, did an excellent job with the event. I would recomend J&H to anyone, feeling confident they would receive great service and advice from an honest shop.



Both the Dyno and the Drags were a blast. I know for me, the dyno event was a knuckle biter battling it out with BPonci. With a 5hp seperation that was as good a match up I've seen in a long time.



At the drags racing Joel from J&H in the final round in that big Twin hair dryered dualie was also a highlight(Good Run Joel). Or when we "put it on" Full Throttle Performances rice burner, The looks on their faces was classic. LOL. But what could you expect from a mostly FORD shop. LOL.



I'm sure if Harvey's shaft didn't break he would have been a contender as well.

Had a great time and met good people. Winspeed you got yourself a strong runner there. You should be proud of yourself for doing a great job. J&H along with Full Throttle Performance did a fantastic job. Wish i could of stayed for the drags but had to head back over the hill to be at my daughters soccer game. I found out that my blowoff valve failed on the first run and the seat broke off and landed ontop of #5 piston on the way home. But all in all had a great time. Once again Winspeed,Good job!

Great Weekend!!

I too would like to thank the staff at J&H Performance for thier time and effort with this event. The shotout between BPonci and Winspeed was priceless. Over 1100 horse power between two daily driven trucks!

Thanks BPonci & Dual EE. The feeling is mutual. Ponci, Your truck is A monster. I know if everything was working right, the results could have been different.

I also have to Bow down to C Sutton, If his nitrous would have worked we would have been covered. But I guess thats racing.



BPonci did you pull her apart yet? Did it hurt a piston or head?

Hey bud,Hows it going? Yes i pulled her down and the crown of the piston had broken off a chunk and beat the living **** out of the intake valve and seat. So down the pan goes and piston comes out. Have a new piston back in and the head done. Waiting for a set of studs to show up. I got really lucky and it didn't touch either turbo. But it really sucks driving the Banks powered ford hot rod service truck around. I go to work when its dark and come home when its dark so its not all that bad.

Hey at least its a diesel right. It could be alot worse you could be driving your minivan yeah thats right Brad has a minivan well at least his wife does. :-laf :-laf :-laf Brad is so ashamed of it when they go on a trip he rides in back because it has tinted windows. I should probably stop there because my pickup is still at his shop waiting for a head I dont want him to sabotage it. I really cant say to much though I am stuck driving my girlfriends Honda but hey its got rims and tires that has to count for something right. At least its not a MINIVAN. I sure hope he doesnt see this post. If he does I am going to get an ear full. I can hear it now OH wait is that my cell phone ringing??????????????????? :-{} :-{}
