Thank you Kore.... DW is really gone.

For anyone that has installed a leveling kit whether it be a Kore setup or any other brand... .



The stabilizer bar drop blocks I installed from Kore have cured my DW finally. Not an iffy... not maybe... it runs rock solid now at speed over highway bumps.



Before the blocks I had the death wobble about 3 times over about 15,000 miles but in between those times as I was tweeking things I often felt the tendency on certain types of road bumps at highway speeds.



Since I installed the blocks about three weeks ago, I have totally forgotten I even had the problem. Today especially. . I was driving all over Lancaster County, Pa... . Amish country... looking at storage sheds (they are famous builders of storage sheds around here). Lots of bumpy stuff and nasty highway. Not one instance of even the telltail shake that made me worry.



I believe when raising the front, Kent got it right... you have to put the stabilizer bar back to stock orientation.

Sweet. . I think Im gonna save for a set of those when I do my leveling kit too. . Im thinking about doing a KORE leveling kit with the spacers for the sway bar. . but $$ is the major issue.

Just came looking for DW cures. I was real happy to see someone found a fix other than removing the leveling blocks. Also glad to see it isn't going to cost a fortune. Thanks for posting pics the blocks look great.

Yup they do along with other goodies I understand. I got my PACE during the group buy and did order the blocks seperatly. after running about 500 miles I finally got it in for an alignment check and everything is within spec's except for the toe-in (. 10 out). I'll worry about that when I get new tires.

I have them on my truck now and I don't do much off roading but I do notice a better tire wear towing with them on.

I was in a accident earlier this year [not my fault ] and had some front end parts damaged. Got it supposedly repaired but the front tires where getting chewed up real bad. Never had the problem before. Since I put the blocks on it has evened off the wear. I will do another alignment when I put the TOYO HT's on next week. These Goodbadyears are a poor excuse for a HD tire.



Another thing that Kent and I have been working on is a good combination of suspension components with the front levelling kit for towing.

I was late fo a 4:00 appointment today and had to go a "little" over the speed limit today on I-95 into Wilmington, De. 90 plus on one stretch.



I am floored by what those two blocks have done. I mean not a shimmy on anything.



Even if you have spacers from another company and experience death wobble these blocks were the absolute cure for me. Makes me think that anyone with death wobble even unlifted fronts might want to experiment with the stabilizer bar mount position.

I have finished reading the entire KORE site, very impressive. The Pace system sounds like it might be for me.



A couple of questions though, what does something like this do for plowing? I would think it's fine for the light/ medium towing I do, But I can't mess w/ my plowing ability too much.

Also, I noticed that the blocks are just listed for 03-05, I've got an 01, still needed/ available?

I do believe everything you need is available for an 01. Look at the price list link on th eKore site. I see 1994-2002 listed in there.

I'm not selling! I only have the leveling setup and just like to tell of my experiences. If you look at the links in my sig you'll see I put stuff up about most of my mods. Don't blame anything on me :-laf

I cannot think of any reason why the sway bar drop brackets would cure death wobble.

I can't see it either. The DW is caused by other components. Now, the BDB may make it less likely to set off DW, but I doubt that NOT having them is a root cause.

When my ball joints, track bar, tie rods etc were all replaced at 3k miles on my 04. 5 that was a month old, the sway bar was also replaced because it was f***ed up too.

For a hundred bucks I'm in. Just ordered a set from Greg at DRC.

From what I understand, it has to do with the arc the bar swings from the attach points at the frame. I don't know enough about the interactions to really explain it. I will tell you that it is the only change I have made and it made THE difference.
