Dicks isnt really a chain. It is a local hamburger stand that what started in my neighborhood (when I was a kid) in about 1954. They have 6 restaurants around town, but they are local. If you check, you may find that local retaurants do the same thing.

Well let me see I was 19 years old it was on the Equator it was about 95 Degrees and 99 % humidity worked like a dog and drank like I owned a distillery smoked a pack of Pal Mall Red's a day at least 5 or 6 joints a day and more at night.



Now im 59 years old dont smoke I dont drink but about 2 or 3 beers WHEN I DO DRINK its 37Degrees just about to snow dont work (lately) and I weigh about 230 because of some steroids the doc made me take before my leg was cut down



Living in a place like this and working day and nite on these didnt help much also

Any time im in town SIL will feed me no questions asked if I need a place to hang my hat same place. I just wondered how they checked if you were a vet. I get a discount at the Napa store!!! because I was in the Air Force and so was the owner of the Napa.

No thats not me I had an engine run and taxi lic. Was asked by Squadron Commander if I wanted to fly rear seat NO THANKS I knew the kid with the wrenches. Your right those guys hadBIG GRANITOIDS. The later OV 10 and some of the O2's had some weapons but the O1's were pretty bare unless you count smoke rockets. Went out a couple of times as door gunner for PJ's to pick up a pilot those were some pretty exciting times let me tell ya. Those Huey's are definitely a bullet magnet when everyone's in an getting out of town.

Thanks for the site I have that one and have found quite a few that served together.
