What mount are you guys talking about?

He's talking about a CB mount... Hey, Big Bob; I was wondering if a Cobra Night watch CB would fit/work with your mount in my 04 6 speed with the cup holders right under the shifter. Right now I have it sitting in my closet and only pull it out when I go on a long trip. Thanks.

Yes, it will work, however, I think you will loose the cupholder closest to the driver. :(

Thats mine, it is Autometer 3 gauge console pod. Moved it since that picture, happy with the CB mount and the gauge pod.

I've got an '06 with six speed on order. Looking at other '06s on dealer lots it appears that a bracket like pictured above will not be compatible with them.

Do you have a CB bracket that willl fit '06 w/six speeds? Or a recommendation?

I have sold a few 06 6 speeds without any issues, however I understand that the center consoles are different on some models.

I had hip replacement on Dec. 27th, so as soon as I'm up and about I'll go to Dishman and check them out more throughly.

Big Bob,

I won't need one until sometime in March so maybe you'll be recovered and mobile by then. Please send me an e-mail or PM when you have an answer.

I looked at '06 trucks on a dealer lot a couple days ago thinking about how to mount brake controller, CB, gauges, etc. It looks like a challenge because the manual six speed trucks have a broad molded plastic platform with cup holders surrounding the shifter base and covering most of the transmission tunnel.

Hey Big Bob, the mount works great! The pics didn't turn out that well. . forgot to change a setting on the camera. But here they are:

I've got a Buddy at Dishman Dodge, he is the accessories manager. He has a couple of my mounts there and he is going to verify if the mount will work on the 06's or not.

I'll let you know as soon as I hear back from him.

Ok guys, this is what I have found out for now.

If you have the "Center Hump Console" or the "Center Seat Hard Console" the mount will not work. If you have the standard hump and center seat it will work.

Having said this, as soon as my Hip allows me to get down the Dishman Dodge, I will try and design a new mount to accomodate them.

I'll keep you posted.
