Just a general thanks to the members of the TDR.

Over the last year I have saved over $300 by making use of the information supplied here.

I saved over $200 by doing the install of my westach guages myself (before doing a search and using the info, I had checked with a local shop and was quoted that amount for the install).

I also saved $127 by finding out I could purchase a replacement for my failed oil pressure sender (failed to zero psi last week), from cummins ($68) vs. the stealer (one wanted $199 and the other wanted $120). By the way my cummins parts guys treated me with a lot more respect than the guys at the dealer parts counter. One of them came out side to see my truck.

The $ savings are nice (more than pays for the membership dues) , but the most important thing to me is (by being a faithful reader) is the "peace of mind" I get by better understanding my truck technically, not making mistakes (letting dealer reflash for the a failed sender, when I only needed a sender replacement) because of the experiences of others.

Jeez, what did we do before the internet! Merry Christmas.

Jon
