Thanks to all for a well run event. I can't imagine all the work it takes to put something like this together. Is it too early to pre-register? See you all next year.

Eric:

Thanks for answering my post from the other

day. I knew you would do good there. I was

wondering if any of the "trailered Dodge

CTD "dragsters" ran like "Auto Wurks", or

the infamous "Dr. P" truck etc. If not,

I think they need to get them all together

for a "shootout". What do you think?

Thanks again Eric! Hope to see you at the

Scheid Rally.

Cooker,

They must have kept a low profile? Eh?

John P,

The Autowurks truck was VERY impressive, but kind of unreliable.

I want to go see the thing run again, hope they get the bugs out it.

I had hoped some of the other big guns would have showed. Oh well.

Maybe they got spanked at the pulls so bad they just went home? :(

I whish every boy with a lift kitted shortbed Chevy with a 454 could have seen Eric run.

The bugs are out of it now. BD got our transmisson to us about 8 hours before we put it on the trailer and headed out to Muncie, so we didn't have the luxury of testing the truck to see if the timing would hold and how it would shift. In no way is the racer complete, however. We are constantly bringing new ideas to the table. The racer did do a heck of a job this weekend in Carlisle as we bolted on the 4 OEM wheels in place of the slicks as the evening drew near and took her to the burnout contest. The only truck there that made as much black smoke as it did white.

I have never in my life seen anything like it. The burnouts were done under the huge awning in front of the grandstands. It made the tire smoke just hover. Through it, shooting right into the stands and hovering there was the diesel smoke. The people had a totally unreal reaction. They were all laughing and cheering him on. The crowd was really roaring. As we were loading up the trailer in the dark, rainy field, people were coming over just to see the truck again.
