Jeepers that's cold. Was 41 deg C here Monday. That's about 106 F.
Nice and cool today, only going to be 30 C (89 F). Thinking about a jumper ...

I would be in my tear away butt chaps if it was that warm here. At least the wind chill this morning is only 20.

Not too tropical here this morning either

Seeing how we have drifted and made this kind of a cold weather thread I would like to share this..

I worked late last night and I got a call from the second shift supervisor at the Houlton store. My delivery truck was sitting outside idling (-15 or so at that time) while the salesman was loading it up with parts for the next day. The truck has a Mercedes 900 engine for power. Dennis looked under the truck and there was about a gallon of motor oil on the ground. Shut it down, checked the oil. Took 5 gallons of oil to get a reading on the stick. Restarted it, no leaks?????? Told them to get it in the shop, I guess there was oil everywhere underneath it.

Steam cleaned it all off, still no leaks......Then they found the problem........

Any one want to guess what it was?????

Yesterday it was -4* here with no winds and clear skies when I was having my morning coffee.

So, I don't know who did it, but Thank You. Someone up north finally closed the door they left opened and it's 20*, no winds and clear skies this morning with my morning coffee.
Thank God it's only like living in the upper portion of the refridge and not in the deep freeze.

That is indeed it.

For rain and snow I relocated the plug end and made it waterproof. It's hidden under the wheel well so I don't have to worry about the weather once it's plugged in.

^^^Interesting place to put the plug. Doesn't it get covered in ice?

-38 In West Yellowstone MT last week, after a 75 second GH delay fired right up ,NOT plug In, When starting in the cold after it starts wait 2 minutes then hit the TB, after it engages (delayed 30 seconds) Ramp the idle to 1K + with the Cruise buttons, If you have access to WITech you can program many features to help with warm ups, Most dealer Techs have NO Idea how to program these features.

Ramp Idle, Shutdown, TB, coolant, Safety features, settings, timers, programing, ETC, there all available. many of the features require change of origin, Heck My 13 is currently set at Rest of world. Many changes cannot happen without the Vehicle PIN, for good reason(s).

This can be all within yours hands for about $6K,Setup Techauthority account pay the fee's and build a relationship/trust with a Dealer that's willing to give you the Vehicles PIN.
