Thanksgiving and Thankfulness (Ends: November 30, 2010)

Thank God for everything, the good and the bad, for it is his will.

My middle daughter's preschool teacher sent home a "wishing candle". The idea is that you light it and then let the children say what they are thankful for before blowing it out. My 4 year old was thankful for "helping mommy cook, her stuffed animals, and pine cones".



This past veteran's day, the same little quote machine told her teacher "My daddy is my hero. He is a Marine. He fought the war and won. He steps on spiders and kills snakes with a shovel. "



The things kids say... it really brings me back to reality sometimes.

I'd like to thank the Obama administration for arranging and subsidizing the sale of Chrysler, preventing it from being split up and it's parts sold to the highest bidder.

I'd also like to thank the employees at CMEP (Cummins Midrange Engine Plant) in Columbus Indiana for their hospitality and the fine plant tour they provided my wife and I in October. They assemble our 6. 7L's exclusively. It's a privilege to own an example of fine American craftsmanship.

I'm Thankful for having a wonderful family like I do and to have a wife that support's my bad habit's {building car's that go fast } I am also Thankful to have the ability to still walk after 30 some surgeries and going back for the 9th on my right Knee on 12-2-2010 . I am also Thankful to have the good Lord watch over me as I go through lifes many twist's and turn's and roll over's and burned up car's . So as of Jan first I am no longer going to build little car's and push the limit's I am going to stick to building truck's they fit better and with a cummin's under the hood will out live my little VW . I also feel blessed to have such a great site with a wealth of info for our beloved truck's Thank You TDR look foward to another yr of great stories and info .
