Lastly... . who doesnt pass Semi's fully loaded on steep grades? Hell i do it all the time fully loaded with a trailer, and do it with out even laying in to the throttle... again, I say... DUMB *** COMMERCIAL! when will Ford and Chevy learn that thier commercials are, well far fetched and just not realistic! I like Dodges commercials, just down right flat out "here is our truck, its bad ***, now buy it" none of this, "hey look, we can lift a semi over our truck, as ya know, you need to do this from time to time! :-laf )

Yeah... Who cares if you can pick your truck up by the bed because you use long and strong bolts???? (Ford) Noone does it!!!

I often wonder why someone would spend 10's of thousands of dollars ( over and above the cost of the Dodge ) to try to pull a machine in the 28-40 pound range, when you can buy a really nice clean used tractor for $10-30k that is properly set up to do the job legally without worry of liability.

Well I used a stock D600 with a 361 gas and 5speed(2 speed rear axle) to haul 35,000# of grain for many years. 350 bushels on the truck and 220 on the wagon. It did a great job. Of course my W150 440 automatic did pretty well handling a GCW of 32. 500# hauling grain out of fields too. The secret to hauling heavy loads is having the load balanced correctly and having great brakes on the trailer. What scares me is watching a Ford Exploder rocket down the I with a medium sized TT in tow and its headlights pointed toward the moon and its tail dragging the asphalt. He is probably well within his GCWR in many instances!

As for that bolt,, a cheap 7/16 from any hardware store has enough tensile strenght to do it!!
