Trans lockup controllers

Where's the best place to find a HX 40 exhaust housing?

So, Finally, after 7,000 or so miles, its broken in finally! Well, Maybe more so that I finally broke the trans in a little for it. What im saying is that I was finally for the first time able to grab 3rd gear with some tire spin and the rest of the gears at the rate I could with the stocker clutch.

Maybe I gained some muscle in my right arm, maybe the trans loosened up, who knows.

Not going to IRP, but I will be going to grove creek 8th mile track this saturday for some test and tune.

it took that long? Mine took about 2 weeks of normal driving, which was about 500 miles and it could do that. Hmm. Maybe its the driver...

Oops. you got the FE and I got the OFE. Could be some difference there I suppose.

I dunno. I think there are really that big of difference between trannys as noted on some of the transmission fluid threads.

Thanks for the tip! Based on your experience there, hows traffic? I wanna get about 20 runs in a resonable amount of time.

And what were your 450RHWP times that I need to look to beat?

I'm looking to be in the range of this guy:

the most i did in one night there was 17 passes. you shouldnt have a problem with 20 if you get there early and be ready to race when they call. at 425rwhp i was cutting 9. 16 in the 1/8 but at 533rwhp i was at 8. 544@83. 35mph with a 1. 79 60'

Yep, plan on being there at 8:30 in the AM with bells on.

I dynoed the 420 with the stock tires and stock clutch. No doubt that number is different now. I'm shootin for upper 8's for sure and it should be possible unless I have a pesky shift to do right before the trapps and no RPMS to run with.

I had that problem with my jeep back in the day, if I shif to 5th, I would be slower then let it bouch off the revlimiter a few times in 4th at the trapps. :)
