That rubber piece that flaps down by the bumper

Got to find a way to fasten this thing onto the frame so it won't keep dropping down everytime I go about 65 mph. You know the piece that's fastened to the bottom of the front bumper and tucks up into the front crossmember. Must be a splash shield or something like that?Any ideas turbo heads?

I know the piece you speak of, I've stuffed mine back up a few times, but don't let it bother me. How about clean the surfaces and use self stick Velcro on the rubber and frame?

My truck did it when it was new and I took it to the dealer and we took some plastic zip ties and stuffed it into the opening and tied it to the metal. No problems since.

I cleaned 2 spots realy good on the rubber and the frame and put a blob of silicone to hold it still. 10k later, still solid

I drilled two hole in the bracket and rivoted mine in.

Thanx for the tips folks! will try a somewhat permanent way of attaching it like the rivets or the zip ties. My Hadleys are just up under there and don't see having any problems with them. So I'll fix the rubber piece here in a week or so.

Oh, by the way,I said when going only about 65 mph. I maybe have gone 70 or so at one time or another. I just dont have a heavy foot #ad
