You know, I've been following the Smarty threads for so long,(usually late at night) that I honestly don't remember if, and when, I put my name on the pre-order list.

I'm sure it was one of those "oh, it's been months already, so if and when it actually comes out, I'll have the money, so why not get on the list?

Well... Mr. Wagner (being the evil one that he is) e-mailed me today to say that the Smarty CR is ready to ship, and I'm on the pre-order list!

First thought I had was that I was probably far down on the list, and by the time I had the money together, mine would be ready to ship.

Of course, by this time the seed had been planted... so... I e-mailed Bob and asked when "mine" would be ready to ship??...

And... of course... if it was ready... ... . how much to overnight it

Anyway... luckily (or unluckily) tonight I have, yet again, found myself a few cocktails into the program, so, of course, I shuffled some funds, and should be experimenting with my first "real" power addition to my truck Thursday morning. (By 10:30 a:m... but whose counting?)

If there was a moral to this story, I've long forgotten it... wish me and my clutch well... I will post opinions
