If you'll go back and read some of the other posts, you'll see that I wasn't the only one who paid over $500 for a clutch job. See, you guys who don't live in California automatically assume that because a clutch install costs over $200 that it's a rip-off.
$200 is not what I paid for the labor, and ONE MORE TIME, Peter indicated on two separate occaisons that he'd cover the labor charge, NOT PART OF IT. He said very sincerely that he'd take care of me, and even said that he had decided that if he found the clutch to not be defective, he'd STILL take care of me anyway. And he calls that taking care of me?
This is why we're having this discussion. I keep pointing out the facts that people are ignoring and then the kids come in here with crap like "whaaa whaaa" and "grow up," when I'm not the one acting like a child.
As for coming back, I always planned to. I, however, have a life outside of this forum. I have a few minutes to spare, so I've replied. I have found that it is a waste of time to have much to do with this place anymore, so I spend my time elsewhere.
MGM is dead-on right with his last post.
