Does Dodge/Cummins have a poliy for the 53 blocks that crack once over 100K?



If just under 100K is there a way to force the failure quickly? A failed injection pump is one thing, but a cracked block is another. Just wondering what can be done with those of us with another time bomb. I thought when the dowel pin went out of my 95 I was done with major bone head actions. Guess not.

You are out of luck bud. I have a 53 block too and 94K+ showing on the odometer. If it goes in the time you have left I am not sure you are lucky or not, personally I am gonna bandaid the block and run her till she DIES if mine cracks. Not worth worrying about, run her hard and if it dies get a new one.

yea, we've beat this thing to death more than once. Bottom line is it seems to be very isolated in ram applications so party on and don't worry about it.
