my brake showed up today. yea, i wanted the air oper pac but jd already had this BD BRAKE on its way so what to do...

no relay (lol... no way micro sw or toggle sw will live like that)

no shifter switch

no adjustablity whatsoever

no hole in plate - when it is on it is ON (and i have stock valve springs)

and a micro switch on a bracket that must be for a ford or something other than a dodge

if i add a shifter switch and a relay can i use this brake on a 1st gen w/ stock springs???

With your desire for more power, I'd recommend changing all 12 valve springs.

You COULD install a backpressure gauge, and flip the switch off at 35psi, or hook up some kind of regulator that would partially open the butterfly at a preset pressure. I would not use that brake with stock springs.

Microswitches are not hard to come by; neither are relays. Did you buy this new or used? If new, and from a company (as opposed to NIB from an individual), I'd be miffed, maybe even peeved. If bought used, buyer beware.
