Guitarists, help me learn!!!

Any GM transmission rebuilders out there?

What is the Coolest smell to you?

I would have to say that it is the exhaust from a CR250 (or any other 2 cycle race bike) running Trick and Klotz R50 at 40:1

I wish there was something I could add to the fuel in my truck to make it smell like I was running Racing Castor. I wonder what a quart of Maxima 927 per tank would do?

Nothin gets my sniffer workin like a good lookin woman. :D Sometimes I wish I was a dog, Then when I was pokin my nose where it shouldn't be, they would just think I am cute..... :D :D

LMFAO

I have to agree... ... that is also very high on my list!

Feel the burn!

Nothing like the smell, and feel, of top fuel nitro and burning rubber at the dragstrip. And old garages/hangars.

What Swamp Donkey said.

Just wonder no more why I have three kiddos and one on the way. :D

Second would have to be the nitro thing. I guess as the grey hairs keep poping out the latter will over take the first. :(

Don~

Defianantly burning rubber. Castor oil smells good to,, but I've smelled so much of castor oil being burned in motors spinning 15-30,000 RPM that it's "Normal" I hardly notice it anymore. But burning rubber alsways has a nice little show along with it :D

I love the smell of freshly bailed hay or alfalfa. Two years ago we were on the way to Phoenix and I actually pulled off the road to enjoy the smell of a farmer bailing his alfalfa while we were in New Mexico. I though it just don't get any better than this.

my favorite smell is old leather work gloves. The smell of old leather, exhaust, metal and oil/gasoline mixed into one smell. I love it.

Only thing I would add to this is when it's stored in a big old timber frame barn. Makes workin' fun.

Smells I like. .

Fresh mowed grass

Ethel gasoline, back in the leaded days

almond extract

bread baking (maybe it's the yeast, like what Swamp Donkey likes :-laf )

chocolate

oranges being pealed

I could go on and on with this one. Seeing as I'm half blind and deaf, my only good sense is my smeller.

Doc

A woman after being in the woods a few days/or fresh outta the bano, diesel exhaust, diesel fuel, a field of sagebrush after a spring rain, new tires/tire shops, baking bread, new york cut on the grill with briquets, noalox, the insulation on aluminum 500 MCM wire, old trucks, (this one bugs my allergies but I like it) ragweed blooming, dry tundra, willow & alder, Bass Ale, second hand clove cigarette smoke, nostalgia pipe tobacco, Meguiar's car wax, old guitar cases, smoke from black powder and my favorite is the puke bottle next to the fan under my truck's hood... J/K

I've got two big ones and they are both early in the morning (which is WIERD because I HATE getting up early, usually sleep till 9 am). First is being at the racetrack first thing in the morning. The mixture of the dew, molten rubber (!), high octane fuel being burnt, gear and motor oils, etc is intoxicating!! #ad
The second is first thing in the morning at the airport with the mixture of 100LL and Jet A along with the dew on the grass - brings back great memories!

First for me is the smell of Diesel fuel. this goes back to my Grandad when he work for the railroad and would come home with his clothes saturated in it.

Next is the smell of Cam2 purple racing fuel after it is burnt in my race car.
