Hello all,
haven't been askig questions lately, but been reading up on possible solutions to some of the issues with my CTD.
Let me tell you after the tune up at West Texas Turbo Diesel -> the Dodge came alive
Among the list of things done to it:
- installed pyro, boost and transmission temp gauges
- valves adjusted
- timing advanced to 15. 5*
- installed 3 KGSK
- transmission: filter replaced, Mag Hytec deep pan, bands adjusted
- replaced fuel lines
and some miscellaneous stuff (oil change, starter rebuild, replaced alternator, replaced CC canister)
Man it's a day and night difference, but the moral to the story is:
get gauges and know what's going on ( I had a boost leakage -> one of the intercooler clamps was not on correctly and tight)
Can't wait to feel the difference when towing my junk around
