Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
Actor Cliff Robertson passed away the other day. I'm sure that's why the movie PT 109 has been playing on the military channel the last couple of days.
I bring this up because, all politics aside, JFK was indeed a hero. A hero of mine. I know a lot of guys on the tdr are not old enough to have seen this movie when it was released (1963), if you were even born yet. But, if you get a chance, I recommend watching it. It is not only a good WWII movie, it is about the heroic actions of a future American president in WWII. Although Im sure there is some dramatic license, this movie is pretty accurate. As i said, all politics aside, JFK was no john kerry.
And a pox on anyone that makes any political comments about this.
