I am sure you all are devoted in "W" and the conservative christian movement ..... but then so are/were bin Ladens terrorists in conservative muslim religion and they certainly believe they are in the "right" in devotion to God as well.



6,000+ die in one day . . gets every one all excited ... that many are killed just in car wrecks in less than 2 months and many more die unneedlessly from hunger and no medical insurance/care, etc and most every one here says its not there problem ... . seems rather odd ... and certainly not very Christian ... its time for you all to cancel your NRA memberships and take a good look in the mirror, how many of your guns prevented this tragedy? ... we have no one to blame but ourselves ... for trying to arrogantly bully OUR views around the world ... seems bin Laden is trying to bully his ideas as well, just the delivery is different . . the outcome isnt much different ... . just more hate.



Wondering how many here are willing to send back your tax cut to pay for this war? ... or are you going to stick your kids with the debt ... just like Ronnie and daddy George did?



as far as "W", how come when W travels abroad, he is pelted with eggs and mass protests, when even now former prez Bill travels he draws record crowds ... . don't at least some of you at least care what the rest of the world thinks of the US? ..... guess not ... thats why bin Laden has been so sucessful in recruiting.



Finally I dont conciously buy anything made in Tx or raised in Fl ... . its a moral issue. "

That guy used to be a moderator on the F-D site. I don't know what happened in his life to cause him to go off the deep end, he used to be pretty knowledgeable about things on that site. After he went on his left wing rants a year or so ago, he was removed from the moderator job. I read his posts on the President's speech and am shocked by his venom toward our leader and what happened. I guess it takes all kinds but it's hard to read such anti-American opinions right now.

I'm going to guess that this ignorant soul wants almost the same things you want. To live on his own. Have a home, a family, a job or means of support, to live peacefully with his neighbors, to pursue what makes him happy, etc, etc, etc.



But in his ignorance, he attacks INDIVIDUALS blindly. Reagan, Bush, conservatives in general, and so on. And, he does so, not becuase he has even the faintest idea of how things work, and how to achieve what he wants, but because of his profound ignorance, he is unable to make headway in his own world, things do not behave in ways he understands, and some brilliant, but less than honest person found a way into his mind and planted the notion that someone else (put the names and institutions and so on) stands in his way, and he has no hope until they are gone.



So he vents his rage, uncontrolled, irrational, and misplaced against the people and ideas that would actually be his salvation. He believes what he says, but hasn't a clue why. And, his confusion and frustration with the world, born of ignorance, only serve to encourage and steel his anger.



No knoweledgeable person believes that the economic recession started with W. But lots of dishonest ones repeat it.



It's time to confront those people with the truth... Call a lie a lie, and tell 'em why.
