Damn Shame

I am getting old but when the idea of a performance car is putting a coffee can on the *** end of a Honda I gotta puke- they just sold the last F-Cars from GM when they had an LS1 small block in there making 320+ horses- my 99 Firebird with minor mods would do 13s in the quarter and get 25mpg- now Jon Moss is figuring out how to soup up Cavaliers to keep up with the rice rocket crowd- that piece of crap is the chick magnet of the new millenium!!!! I think I will back over one with the Dually tomorrow I have more insurance than these litttle pukes- WRX my ***- Sorry my . 02

Hey I used to think the same way

After owning Mustangs , Hot rod trucks The dodge and now along with the dodge I also have The Subaru WRX. We got it to tool arround and whatnot when the Dually Just wasn't needed to pick up Chineese food. I gotta say That car Rips! With just a three inch exhaust on it Read: Flat Four cylinder motors do not sound like Coffee canned kazoo making hondas!!!!!! and an air filter it dynoed out at 240. 4 Crank HP!! Now while growing up in the age of V8 muscle I must agree that NOTHING ... . NOTHING sounds meaner than a Full on Blown 351W in the Burnout box But Not for nothing Today's "true" jap cars that are done tastefully are truly fast. Hell taking us back to the wrx a sec I SMOKED a Stock 'Stang GT with my car BONE STOCK 3 weeks after I got it. But now all of theese WANNA bees that have led lights for washer fluid jest and glow in the dark pedals , and etc etc are ruining Motorsports for everyone ... ... ... ... ..... Including me :--)

Old days are gone forever

When rear wheel drive V8s leave for good part of America will leave with them- thank god for ZO6 vettes, Vipers, Saleen Mustangs and anything else out there that is a link to the musclecar hey day- the WRX is a good car but do not pick a stop light fight with an SS Camaro it could get ugly- GT Mustangs never wanted none of my Pontiac-to think those cars are gone in favor of front drive four bangers???!!! Oh Well

Nothing spells sweet nothings than a z06 singing at full song sideways (TWO IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD ) And if I could dissable the AWD on the SUBE I would so it would be RWD full time just to have a piece of fun back. I slapped a set of 3:73 's in the ol ladys mother's 95 T-Bird and that's a fun car to play with people with As a kid my bud's brother had a 71 Lemans powered by Crower and edelbrock and TRW (Running joke every other week) and man I was fascinated by that car schredding tires to no end and the occasional ride with ET Street slicks ..... NOW that was hotrodding! not integras with glittering paint and Sticker racing Wanna bee shiftlight blinking Wheelchock cars.
