About how many threads should be showing on stock fuel screw, I'm trying to figure out if this one I have has been turned in any by the prior owner? Mine shows about 2 1/4 threads out of the jamb nut. They advanced the pump alittle, guy I bought it from didn't even know how much, just took it somewhere he said. Truck runs decent, better since I welded the breakover spring post up and installed a new breakover spring.

I pulled the tamper cap on mine and could only turn it 1/2 turn before the collar bottomed out. If I want more, the collar is gonna have to go.

WHat's this about a collar?

Seriously, I've had about 1-1/2 to 2 turns before bottoming out the screw on the collar, when the pump has had one. If you take the 6mm wrench, you can get the collar to jump the threads, and go in farther, thus bypassing the need to remove it and leak fuel all over an otherwise clean engine :-laf.
