I am not a fan of this..I did think that the “Platooning” had some merit and am sad to see that go by the wayside..

Driving a loaded truck requires many more decisions be made than driving a car...I don’t know if it can be safely accomplished...

I don't see it. Last year on I-35, a major pile-up happened during a snow storm. The DOT video was amazing showing trucks taking evasive action between stopped vehicles to come to a stop "parked" in the weeds just off the roadways. I doubt the computer would allow, or be able to perform that multi-faceted, evasive maneuver. I could be wrong...….
