If anyone has this movie on VHS hold on to it. I was trying to find a new one from a few different video stores & online stores.

This is one of the best comedy movies I have ever seen. The Comedy Central version is terrible. About a 1/3 of the movie is cut.

Its out of print. They are currently not making any new VHS copies.

The ones for sale on E-Bay are BEAT UP EX rentals. They are going for about $40 a VHS.

I may just find a decent rental from Blockbuster or Hollywood Video and say I lost it, then pay for it. Thats the least expensive way. #ad

Yeah, that's what I was just going to ask, did they ever put this movie on DVD? I should go over to DVD Express.com but it's already almost 2 am! You know how that goes, you start fooling around on a website, and one thing leads to another, and before you know it it's almost 4am!

Put in a bid for THE GODS MUST BE CRAZY 1 AND 2 on E-bay this week. They ending up selling for abour $50. The seller E-mailed my saying she has more tapes, and will sell them to me for my bid of $25.

I said SURE!

That happens alot on E-bay. The sellers will get back to the losing bidders and sell you one for your high bid. I'm glad I was not the high bidder. I saved 25 bucks!

I have a copy that I made when they showed it on HBO a few years ago. It is the full version and not the cut ones like they show on Comedy Central. I agree that is one funny movie, that is why I taped it the next time HBO played it.

Brand New... Still in wrapper!!

Not sure of the origin of the tapes. They say "Property of CBS/FOX Video. Licenced for Promo use only, not for rental. Public performance is a violation of applicable laws. "

If I wanted too, I could put this tape on E-Bay and start the bidding at 75 bucks. #ad

The Gods must be crazy was on TV just a little while ago, and I watched it! It is a great picture-been catching it now and again since forever- I get a kick out of those right hand drive ford pickups. It was on BET network.

Hmmm. Well, isn't that a hoot? I was the one that stated that cellphones would NEVER fly. My stock portfolio used to be worth well over 50k and now sits at 24k. My advice to you is that you ignore my advice.

I liked the way the brakes didn't work on the Land Rover, in the scene after he (I can't remember the main guy's name) picked up the new school teacher and he stopped to open a gate and the LR started rolling backwards with the teacher panicking inside. "Don't worry Miss Tompkins, it'll come back!"

Or how about the scene where he winched the LR across a river, and he forgot about the winch and the LR ended up hanging from a tree!
