Internet explorer troubles. Anyone else?

Are the Moose just curious? Are they looking for food from the workers? Would it be dangerous to try to touch one?

They don't seem afraid at all.

It depends, in the fall you might get to see what Mooseballs look like :-laf  There was a lady whose car got molested by a moose a few years ago up in Maine, totally destroyed the car. I know I was afraid when I called one in with an old frenchman moose call and the thing came in at mach 5. Most of the time they are pretty dosile and will try to stay away but when they are in the mood watch out

Is moose tasty? I've never known anyone who hunted moose.

I think moose are great! I'd love to have a GIANT moose head in my living room. Better yet, an ENTIRE stuffed moose - antlers and all!!

Moose meat is excellent, I got a permit 5 years ago in Maine and got a 520 lb little guy. Every bit of that moose was tender, my buddy got a 300 lb one the year before and every stitch of that one was like tenderloin. Moose meat is kind of a cross between beef and venison.

Chryco, the guy that posted these pictures says...

"Don`t touch moose (mece?) They are bad tempered at the best of times and are as big as horses. " :-laf

His job must pay good. He runs a '68 Ray Barton HEMI Dart (not an original).

In a fight between a moose and a horse I put my money on the moose any day.

I thought they were bigger than horses?

Cool. We are currently installing 172 miles of 42" x70 DSAW in Louisiana without Moose. :D

Our problem is rain. Our fifth spread isn't fully strung yet because of the mud.

I forgot to ask if those are local 798 Moose in the picture. Two fitters and one rod burner...

Moose00

Better get that Mag installed. We pipeline companies are contracting rig welders at $65. 00/hr plus rig and fitter/helper. Lots of fitters breaking out with old rigs... Times are good for welders right now.

:) Thanks for the offer, I am Strictly an amateur, Never got the Cert, now the State has dropped the Welder Program. So I use the SA-200 for just burning rod. It needs at least one cylinder re-ringing, and a valve job. However, Welds like no tomorrow, never had used a machine with as nice as arc as that  Some day I'd like to put it on a 1st Gen service body, and make some Cash. I do have 5+ weeks Vaction :)

A Brief HiJack; That KDP, Whaen you did it, was it loose? I wonder about mine, I am planning to fix it at Coffee Nite, before the end of Feb. End HiJack Oo. Moose00

me4osu, No, that looks like a spreadman and two office moose from either Sheehan Or Associated! Clueless as usual! Sounds like a building trades hand calling a welder helper a fitter. :-laf

SDancy,

My mistake, I was thinking RPI or Price. :-laf

Moose00,

KDP was in its proper place when I did mine with the jig.

I'm in the wrong business... :{

I'd happily make 1/2 that amount/hr and I love to weld (despite my lack of formal training... ).
