Like I said earlier, the Raiders will be purchasing tickets in order to get to the Super Bowl, man they suck this year!

NE v. Steelers was a great game- KC looked like dog meat.

KC looked horrible tonight. We're down 4 defensive starters. Outlook is not good :( Sims is out of action, Willie Roaf may not play for a long time, Warfield is suspended for 3 more weeks, and Keryan Fox is gone for the season.

What the heck happened to KC? I watched thinking it was going to be a great game and Denver was just pushing them around. Patriots/Steelers was indeed a much better game. If Jake Plummer can beat up on KC like that, what's going to happen when they go up against Indy, or Pittsburgh, or New England? Methinks there's a lot of work to be done in KC before the thread title is even close. Now, if the Denver Broncos that played last night keep showing up, maybe just maybe they can keep playing after Week 17 - and finally get past Indianapolis! Hey, I can dream!

Besides the fact that it looked like Denver just outplayed the Chiefs...

Our starting defensive tackle is out for the next 6 weeks. (Ryan Sims)

A starting safety is serving a suspension for 3 DUI's (Eric Warfield)

Our 3rd linebacker (from the base defense) is out for the season (Keryan Fox)

The 12 time pro bowl left tackle the Chiefs have been running all over everyone behind is out for a couple more weeks (Willie Roaf)

Our blocking tight end is injured/hurt and is a day to day decision now (Jason Dunn)

The wide reciever we picked up this off season to give us a passing threat is out injured (Freddie Mitchell)

We have no depth is basically what I'm saying. Plus it was a rivalry game, all rules go out the window.

the Steelers game this week was a good one... and it's nice to know that without the 52 second gift to the Pats, we may have pulled it off. The Steelers didn't play too well, giving the Pats WAY too many gift opportunities.

Oh well, let's see how they do against SanDiego with a week off. Should be another good game!

I never met a Chefs fan that was intelligent.

HMMM, maybe you should learn how to spell Chiefs before accusing someone of not being intellegient :rolleyes: :D :-laf ;) :p :-{}

(I figured if jeepmullet can abuse the smiley's, I can too!)

I thought the 'Chefs' was that old joke from the Snickers commercial a few years ago - old man painting the endzone letters on the field at Arrowhead, finishes and another guy comes up and says "Great, but who are the Chefs?" Old man starts grumbling and Snickers says it's what happens when you're hungry.

Oh, and Denver has gotten 10 more points every game - 10 against Miami, 20 against SD, and 30 against KC - they ought to have 40 against Jacksonville! (Okay, I can dream, can't I?) And the defense is getting better - 34 against Miami, 17 against SD and 10 against KC - at that rate Jacksonville ought to score 3 or 6 points. Yeah, I'm dreaming, but it could happen!

Kurtis,

Why don't you shutup? Huh? You're pretty tough when you're a state away huh? For your information, since you're apparently not aware of KC/Denver/Oakland rivalries, "Chefs" is a derogatory term-like donkeys. Loncray's post is accurate. I know how to spell Chiefs. OK? :D :p

Jeepmullet and I are just ribbing each other, I think. :D

BTW, the 1st gen got straight piped today. Oo. :D  :)

Bring it on "Whitey" driver :D :p

I am very aware of the rivalries and I was pretty proud of the Broncs on Monday night. Their defense was awesome! I can't like KC because of their coach, QB, and punt returner.

Straight pipe

Anybody in the West who pays the slightest attention to f'ball is aware of the rivalries. Forget Cowboys/Redskins (the big rivalry where I live now) - Broncos/Raiders or Broncos/Chiefs have been THE games for years now. It must be awful for the Chargers fans - to be so disrespected that the other teams in your own division ignore you.

the west coast rivalries pale in comparison to the hatred between Pittsburgh/Cleveland or Pittsburgh/Baltimore

LONG LIVE THE STEELERS!!!

The best I ever saw was when the U. S. olympic hockey team beat the Ruskies. Ahem,... but that was so many years and lifetimes ago. .

QUOTE]

That was awesome.

Since then, I believe that Sledpuller guy winning back to back Thunder in Muncie championships tops the list!!! :D :-laf

Now, back to the Chefs- I think that old man who needed a Snickers said, "GREAT GOOGLY MOOGLY. " when he mispelled it.

And that quote is EXACTLY how the old Chefs played Monday night! Just ugly. :D

Oh yea, Cleveland (what is a brown, anyway?)sucks, and the Steelers are going to the Super Bowl!!!
