My cell phone used it as a diving platform to dive into the cup of Diet Pepsi. I think it was a suicide.

A buddy of mine lost a cell phone when it took the suicide jump from the cubby hole into the spit cup . Cell phone is the only thing in mine, except for a bunch of change that I have given up on trying to retrieve...

I use my cubbie hole for a Garmin GPS (XL 12). Fits pretty good, but the tail hangs out about an inch. The rubber backing of the unit holds the gps in the cubbie until you goose it up a steep hill.
