The Little Things

Alright guys, need some info here. I am getting ready to break my 97' truck down and do some more work to it. What little things should I do while I got it down? I am going to clean out the fuel heater filter and try to check lift pump pressure. What other things should I do while I'm in on it?

Besides the regular service there really isn't much to do. Some of the overlooked things are; change and flush the brake fluid and power steering fluid. Silicone spray is also a nice thing to do for your door seals. Oil tailgate and door hinges.

Adjust valves.
Clean strainer screen.
Add #4 plate, 370 injectors, Govenor spring kit, AFC spring kit, port the head, twin turbos, Maghytec rear end cover, Royal purple synthetic oils, ETC... ... .....
Which leads to Sachs clutch, SPA guages, ETC.....
Change the air in the tires from winter air to summer air. #ad

Balance your wiper blades. #ad


Sorry couldn't help myself.

Just adjust your valves and change your oil & filter and the fuel filter, not to mention the air filter.
If your truck is still stock slid the plate forward.

Already got #4 plate, my injectors are way bigger than 370's, I can already rev past 4 grand, and star wheel is completely loose.
Getting ready to:
Take spring out of AFC housing
Twin turbos
And I might port the head when I blow my head gasket. #ad
