It all started a few weeks ago when the second stock turbo blew the oil seals. Answer - HTT hybrid 62/14. $1100 The wife notices the exhaust had holes in the tailpipe. Silverline 409ss - $413 I had 160,000+ miles on the old RV275s and that made me nervous of a dropped tip. Mach 1. 6s - $700 ( I really wanted mack 4s but I tow a lot and was worried about egt's. ) The third lift pump was weak before all this started. I could drop fp to 2psi or less with juice on 3X3. Tired of the carters, I put in the Airdog FP100 - $499. The airdog works awesome, 19idle, 15wot. The hybrid is sweet, it added 500rpm to the power band. The 1. 6s smoke a little at low rpm but no worse than before. Put it all together and "Holy Crap". :D Ive only used 3X3 on the box and I can't believe how this puppy pulls! 3rd and 4th gears leave twin black patches til the rpms run out. Passing from 50 I break 100mph when I'm beside the other car! I have no idea how those of you with 800+ RWHP keep the things on the road. Oh yeah, the best part is my wife didn't complain at all as it was all "maintenance";) issues and I paid it off 5 years ago!
 
Definitely ups the "PUCKER FACTOR",you should feel how Mach 4"s pull----the MRS is telling me to "Slow Down,Slow Down Now Dammit". Can hardly wait till i put my BD twins on---Just order the ARP 625 Studs from Rip at Source Automotive today. Got to stop spending money on the truck,the Mrs will have my you know whats in a sling soon:-{}. You will also love the AirDog,really quiet. After market fuel filter for it is available from Fleetguard--FF5613-3/5 micron rating. Hope this helps. DW

I went out and played a little today while looking for a box for my buddies 98. With the box on 3X3 it pulls like mad and at 110mph the egt's hit 1150* preturbo. I put the box on 5X3 and it really didn't feel like it was pulling any harder. But, the egt's hit 1350* before I hit 100mph. I found that suprising. I don't think it can burn the extra fuel. The new turbo is only making 28 psi at wot. I think I'll play with the wastegate and see if I can get more out of it. I know the bigger compressor flows a higher volume but my old stocker made 40 with no problem. Of course that may be what took it out!:-laf
 
Not yet, My father-in-law had heart catheterized yesterday and is having the aortic valve replaced Wednesday morning. It'l' be a while before I can mess around some more.

Best wishes to your father-in-law and your wife, i'm sure shes worried sick. And if you think you dropped a bunch of money on that stuff, wait till you have to start replacing stuff in the front end... . I've got more sunk into my front end than anything else!
 
AFOULK, Thanks. I've gone throught the front end already, most parts a couple of times. Today, the thing wouldn't turn off. :eek: The attitude was blank like no power. I had to unplug it to turn it off. :confused: Plugged it back in and all seemed well - until I started driving. Under mild acceleration, it had a bad stutter in levels 1,2, and 3. I didn't try 4 or 5. Stock mode and it was fine. I'm going to go through connectors and stuff. I emailed Edge to see what they think. I bought it Nov, 06 so its just out of warranty. I hope they still back it up.
