Competition Cracking the 53 block problem?

Competition 540 miles with a smile

What a great year we all have in the diesel motorsports arena. DHRA has an incredible line up for sled pullers and drag racers, the DHRA Diesel Nationals at IRP is shaping up to be the wildest gathering of dieselheads in the world.

ATPA has an exciting series for the sled pullers. NHRdA has a cool line up of NW races, and heck maybe COMP461 isn't as crazy as he makes himself out to be and we'll here some good news from NHRA.

I'm particularly excited to be able to climb back into the drivers seat this year in the Scheid Top Diesel Dragster. After a year and a half of literally no track time for myself, I am ready to hit the hammer and test the limits of the mighty Cummins once again. Keep an eye out for us to be exhibitioning all over the United States. Be sure to come up and say hi if you see us.

So promises of 10,000 lb- 9 second 1/4 mile trucks and 2500 hp dyno runs get archived with the rest of the winter's bench racing and the excuses of falling short begin. :-{} :-laf

No matter what happens I want to wish all participants a safe and most importantly FUN season of racing and pulling. -Eric McBride

Eric, I have to agree. This is going to be the best year yet, with more folks in it. I know of one "new' truck that is going to be on the line. We'll be testing at Silver Dollar Raceway the 23'rd. This is going to be one, weird feeling to see the "bodied" truck go down the track.

See ya at Bowling Green. Good luck with the rail.
