Finally got my password!!! Have any of you guys experienced rough shifting in the new trucks? My auto has been a little rough since brand new but seems to be getting better.

Deano, what running boards are you talking about?? Mopar dos'ent list a paint-able board for the 03 dually, only those ugly check plate units. Whats up with that???

Welcome d-hlaw,

It gets a lot better with miles - I've got about 3K and the shifting is great now. Just about had to bend the shifter when it was newer!

The boards are part number 82206952 and they come painted the same color as the truck, in my case bright silver metallic. I think they look pretty good. I think they are a good match for the truck, others might think they look lousy. To each his/her own.

I had the nerf bars on my 94 and did a couple of near fatal snow dances trying to get into my truck, so I prefer the regular boards and I was never warmed up to diamond plate.
