so if you posts dont have anything to do with this topic, please cry about what were doing in someone elses thread. thank you.

Seriously??? You are crying about a thread getting derailed? We all know that the gang at NGM would never derail a thread to call someone out or talk about records... ... .

BTW Robert, your spelling and grammar is declining rapidly... Wade must be rubbing off on you or stealing your keyboard. :D

I was thinking maybe Comp may have some finger prints on his keyboard as well. :-laf

I am going to set a record for the fastest 6 speed vp44 single turbo "pulling truck" tomorrow at the race track.

i'll get all the sponsors then!

well since no one bothered to even read the first thread here it is!

well guys us here @ NGM picked up a new sponsor for the race truck, and wanted to share some very important info that has made our use of Nitrous very promising and very consistent.

NITROUSAURUS-X Nitrous Oxide Pressure Control System

this is a very prompt company with exellent customer service, and a product thats the only one of it's kind. we have nothing but great things to say about this company.

if you deside to call or buy one tell them Wade or Rob @ NGM Diesel sent you!

if we can help at all feel free to let us know thanks.

And that has What to do with the times you ran, where you ran them, or who witnessed them? Class' or "records" that you are claiming are better done by walking softly and carrying a big stick.

Sure you can be proud to own a fast 3rd Gen. I know I would be, but before I started bragging, I'd have video, time slips and witnesses inside the diesel world.

Does he have enough witnesses for the "fastest keyboard 3rd gen with no tail gate and NOS"?

we ran the times at the big rig nationals at MIR on 5/5/07 plenty of witnesses, that are inside the diesel world. there were no videos taken but there is a timeslip that has been posted.

The problem I see with the Nitrousaurus-X setup is it only fits a 10# bottle. Many folks I know use over 5# of nitrous per 1/4 mile run and a 15# bottle is a must... ... .

What is better about this system than the NX Fire and Ice setup?

On Track you say... ...

Hmmmmm.....

OK... .

I can do this... I think... ... .

Well lets see what it says here... ...

Ok,I tried, but, this false advertising deal is part of this thread Rob.

Again,No Record Paperwork=No record and your sponsor misleading their customers. I wonder how they get away with that and are you comfortable being part of it??.

Someone here mentioned the "KING" of the BS-O-Meter Compy...

Well this deal may just out do him as even. At his best Compy never had his truck advertised as a record holder until he had the paperwork that showed it.

Hey Tim...

Add me to your doorslammer bash. .

Then it can be a Camel Interior 12v in the fun also for this record... ... Andy

good question Doug,

they do come in 10 and 15 pound carriers, and duel 10 and duel 15 are in the works.

this doubles as a heater and a cooler, is regulated to within 1 degree, and also houses the bottle. it also plugs right in to the cig lighter, no spliceing wires as it comes ready to use out of the box. draws only 1 amp, and it's NHRA certified, among other great attributes!:D

video's and time slips in this thread. for you.

Its on Tim!!! Me, You and Andy lining them up side by side by side. Wait. That will never work. Forget it. Lets just say we ran em up at Brainerd last weekend between Top Fuel and Funny Car.

Oh- and to keep it on track I agree with Mr. Jetpilot I think you need at least a 15# bottle.

Very cool idea. What does it weigh? What is the recovery time on bottle pressure after you drop 5lb from a 10lb bottle?

In the race truck I'm currently running no heater. Just a pusher system. I'm able to dial in an exact pressure. It maintains that pressure from 12lbs (full) to 1lb (all but empty).

For those wondering. I'm not squeezing 12lb into a 10lb bottle. I'm running the Carbon Fiber 12lb bottles.

I like my pusher system. Guaranteed pressure all the way to the last pound. Even on hot laps.

My two street trucks have the fire and Ice systems Doug mentioned are more than adequate for street trucks.

the case it self is about 5 lbs or so , it's a very light plastic, there being made in 15lbs sizes. the recovery time from a full blast down the track is any where from 30 min to 1 hour, depending on how much you used, and it will push all the way untill empty or very close to it. this is great because temp is directly reletive to psi and temp is what gets the nos up to pressure and keeps it there. Wade is have great luck with his.

so 30 Min to an hour to pump a half full bottle back to a grand.

I just dont have that kind of time in my local points series. They run us in 15 to 30 Min intervals. There isn't a recovery time on my pusher setup. That's not to say that it is without drawbacks. It does have to be filled occasionaly. But it suits my particular needs. Allowing me to run a set pressure from one end of the track to the end without a pressure drop.

Glad to hear that it is as light as it is. What are the dementions?

I'll have to keep this in mind for some of my customers.

Its not efficient enough for my application. But would probably work well in a street truck.

Thanks,

~Wes~

thats based on a 5lb per pass draw!

so if you only use 1-2lbs it would recover much faster.

i also know that a "new super heater" is in the works as well, it will allow 10-15 min full psi heating, and that should be out in the next 3-4 months, we are soon to be testing it and we will post the results.
