Glad you guys all got back safe and sound. It was a great time... it was cool that so many attended from so far away.

Anybody do a truck count?

It was cool to put faces to the names. Learned a few things myself, ( That overhead mileage thingy goes higher than 12? Who knew) had some laughs, & ate pretty good. Next year... . I want warmer weather ... . & Jengle's raffle tickets :-laf

Moose and the boys had a great time, Like Midlife Crisis said, "It was cool to put faces to the names. " Thanks for raffle stuff. Moose00 Oo.

I counted 21 in the lot at one time and I think a few more were parked in another lot when we ran outta room... That will teach them to show up earlier :)

And a GOOD time was had by ALL ( who attended )

SeeFood 2005 was a great success cause of the great job the organizers did to provide us clilly beans with a warm spot to catch some BTU's while outside AND a warm and food filled inside-shop site PLUS all the intrestin folk who showed up! OOPS I forgot ta mention dat der were cullinary treats to deflower the buds of the less traveled! Here's a pic of the gatherin in early pm.

When installing a stove pipe, DO NOT cut 2' off...

A beer can launches very nicely from a 4' stove pipe...

Veggie oil and #2 make a mess of the truck and the floor...

LARGE people shouldn't lean back in a plastic chair...

2 teen girls and 1 teen boy w/ DUCT TAPE should not be in the same room...

You can shift a 5 speed QUICK...

Sausage cooked on a garden rake taste GREAT!

TDR members can't carry a tune singing HAPPY BIRTHDAY...

You can let total strangers borrow things...

ToolMan can make friends with road kill...

A zip tie makes a great toilet flush handle...

A huge thanks to all that could make it, you are trully a GREAT group of friends to hang with!

I promise something a little warmer for next year... plans are alreday in the works for 06... :)

LOL @ Roadkill.

testraub,

There were 6 in the other lot and 4 up top as well. Pretty #ad
if ya ask me! BTW Jengle just played with that same Hemi guy. Jengle seemed to think that he was more upset than usual when he beat him :-laf

RabbittDaddy Never ever leave us unattended from this moment forward. We need you to keep us in check here on the forums ;)

}{ead$hot Zod Good to meet ya!

Tonite I will add the winners and such!! I gotta go to dinner @ the inlaws and listen to the drama that is about unfurl on the "Cruise trip" they are planning with the Queen of drama neighbor

Hey thanks to all who sung happy b-day to me, Thanks to the toolman for passin me the brewski. Thanks to TQT for having that place. Its was Great To See all the trucks and GREAT To MeetEveryone That I did. and I defently look forward to many more Times like we had on Saturday oct 29th.

Finally made it home, after what seemed like hours of sitting in traffic. Actually, the total time spent in backups probably was a couple of hours. Not one wreck on my side of the interstate, most were even on the far shoulder of the opposite lanes, but still stopped traffic on my side. Insane! Thanks to Mark for the place and all the rest for making this event happen. Also thanks go out to the guys that lent a hand in my tire swap. I think one thing that amazed me was when I pulled into the garage to do a tire swap, how fast the hood came open???? LOL Guess it shows me I gotta do some cleaning in the engine bay before an event, huh? Thanks for the great raffle prizes. Great time had, as usual, always great to meet new guys and put faces with names. Rabbitdaddy, awesome mussels and clams. Thanks for the intro to the NZ seafood. If you guys make it to the Northern VA area, let me know when you're coming and maybe we can meet up for a beer. I'm in the Manassas/Warrenton area, about 35mi west of DC.

Oh yeah, the Hemi. On the way up, 3 guys in a white one gave me a run, and got stomped, then gave me the thumbs up as they passed when I let off it. The guy on the way home, seemed to have an attitude as he pulled alongside, before he ripped it. I hammered mine just enough to pull up to him and stay right beside him, while looking over at him, knowing he was all in it and my pedal still had a way to go. Thanks to Cummins for the turbo. I sat there for a couple of seconds, then mouthed the word "Bye" at him, and let the pedal go to the floor. I think that was more embarrassing than just blowing by him. Still need to make more smoke!!!

Things learned at this years event:

We WILL have a great time, even if the weather doesn't want to cooperate.

The weather will always be better on Sunday.

The hood has to be popped to do a wheel change.

VW Jettas rock. Especially when bombed.

A minor fender bender on the shoulder can bring 6 lanes of traffic on the opposite direction to a stop.

The guys in the NE area that don't participate in the Coffee night sessions are missing a lot of fun, and knowledge.

Running veggie oil can be really messy.

Heat pump crew

Some More learning experiences:

-Clams DEFINITELY do NOT MELT when place on top of MEGA HEAT source :)

-pork loin takes over 30 minutes to cremate on top of a heatalizer

-sometimes a terriffffic looking stack topper is a smoke inhibitor :p

-good people will find each other faster if they own diesels ;)

-good vibes made the sun shine even if it was just for a few minutes

Things I learned...

1. Never and I mean never follow Headshot Zod anywhere. By the time I got there I was so hungry from following the french fry truck I could have eaten my own arm. :D

2. The chili was hot and that great salad was the only thing that could cool it off.

3. Almost had best in show... Mine was the blue 3rd gen in the back corner, damn Home Depot for the door dent :{

GREAT TIME!! Weather was "good" this year - above 40 and no rain...

Here's a few things learned: 1. Always check the timing before dismantling the front of the engine, 2. Young Ozzie, yes I said Young Ozzie, buys his propane at Stop & Shop too, 3. Sir... . SIIIRRRRRRR - You can't bring that tank in here!!!

Sooo, Think Deo has the Jack Stands on the mantle or the Dining Room Table?? :-laf

"The Third Gen Category: testraub And again honorable mention to the 3rd Gen in Blue that was parked down backed in at the guard rail. VERY close indeed. "

Alright... thats it... next year the Jersey Plates are coming off. :{ The judge's must like Red or somethin'. (At least mine is in all the pics) :-laf
