That's member smittybilt's truck. I'm afraid the dreaded 53 block bit him. :{

By the way, to partsman, I tried catching up with you but you weren't around your truck anytime I could find it.

Hard to tell where I was at,,,I can remember being on the dyno at 9:30 sunday but that's it LOL

I tell ya I had a blast, the Amerihost was the place to be. Despite the cops a couple times the road was well laid over with a new surface. The tug of war between the Cummins and the Stroker rocked. As far as people, well I met a lot of people and some I finally got to put faces too. Staying up till 3-5 am all three nights there did catch up to me though. I am really glad I had people riding within my truck that were awake, cause as soon as I got onto I-74 Sunday leaving the track for home, I took a swig of Mt Dew coughed and passed out doing 75 mph, no I didn't feel tired, just passed out, and when I came too, I want to thank my wife, who was trying to pry my leg off the go pedal, and Turbo Tweaker(a. k. a. Fat Kid) for doing everything in his power to keep us on the road, from the back seat. Ya we did find the ditch, but I don't remember that, nor did we hit anything. I came to and was still on the road doing 70 wondering what the heck they were doing to me. So a special THANK YOU to the both of them. Till next year thanks for a great time Jim.

Bill, I'm sorry I didn't have time to catch up to you, but they kept us pretty busy. I did get a chance to run by your camper once on Saturday morning and you weren't around. I did see you a lot, but was busy working and could get over to shake your hand and introduce myself... I will have to catch you some other time. I know I was glad to get outta that heat and head home, but had a great time... I heard about "thong boy" but thank God I was at the 300 foot end of the track at that time and didn't see him...

Very nice pics coming in from this event!

Billbob1, I picked up your message Sun. , thanks for calling. I spent most of the weekend trying to limit myself to chasing shade areas. We will have to catch up at the next event.
