Observation - Even though you empty the pill bottle the oil seems to blow out of the bottle and on to "everything" under the engine. It does keep it from dripping on to the concrete, (thats good). I know this is a poor design and many members have come up with ways to try and work around it. My question is, does it do this because of the blow by pressure, based on engine speed? Also from reading I understand that it is better to have oil splattered all over the engine than to have any restriction. I guess restriction could cause your seals to blow in the engine. I can live with the splattered oil, just wondering why the bottle does not work? Is this just the nature of the beast (Cummins)?
