What is up with the upcoming quadzilla box?
I have talked with them and signed a non disclosure document to learn more so can't say allot but I can say that if I were you I would wait and try one. I don't think they are that far off, someone mentioned on TDR that they are taking pre orders already.
Also, what about an EZ/ Van Aaken Smart box (duration) stack?
I think someone has done that one here so maybe a search will turn up something, however stacking boxes has become popular I think from trying to tie and all around program together but its hit and miss and can be costly when it doesn't pan out well. Quad may have just nailed down a great box on this one.
I need to replace this POS 6 gun. Biggest pile of crap I've bought.
And why is that- is it that it doesn't work right, not enough power increase for you? sure would like to know why you don't like it and if you have the speed loader also.

Tst is too much  I know I don't have the restraint! :D

I bet Mark (owner of TST) would make a weak version for you, Like only up to level 5 or so - Then you could not get crazy even if you wanted

Because I know the only other box than the TST would be the juice... (that i would consider)

I'm seriously debating one of these for my 04. 5 at this point. I tow extensively with this truck, but when I'm empty, I want to flat out get somewhere:)

Do all boxes provide adjustments and can these be done from the inside of the cab? Something pretty slick about being able to dial up a diesel fart when needed;)

Are there combo fuel/timing boxes without having to stack?

Are they all priced somewhat the same or is there a huge step up (I know the banks is a touch pricey) and are the more expensive boxes worth the additional cost?

Easy of installation? Feel free to rate them if you've had multiples.

Real world experience: What has blown up, under what circumstance with which box? Mileage gain or loss? Any other quirks or issues? With 150k on the clock, I'm not to worried about throwing a code;)

Power/performance/piece of mind gains with other mods (turbos, cams, exhaust, etc)

Thanks!

TX give Quadzilla a call, I think you will like what you hear! :D

I pre-ordered the 100hp box last week. It's supposed to ship March 14.

I hope the Beta testers are allowed to talk soon. I want to hear how good/bad it is. From the description I received, it seemed like the perfect box. Moderate power with adjustability.

I suppose they would not be releasing the boxes for sale to the public if they were having issues with the beta units.

my 6 gun isn't even close to the claimed 125hp, wasn't near the claimed "quick and easy install" and worst of all has a natsy surge that will flat **** you off!! It's a paingoin down the highway and your boost gauge can't find a happy place between 14 and 21 psi!! Milage never went up, in fact I think it went down, and it sure doesn't keep my attetion on the throttle. Feels more like an EZ on like level 3. . . . . . . No smoke, no milage, no smiles, no nothing, really. Expensive for the minimal improvement in my opion.

My dad just put a Quad on his Ford 7. 3 and is AMAZED!!!!! Might just have to givethem a try. Quad - tried to call you this afternoon but I guess you were on conference call. No biggie, pm sent!

Thats sick. . must be something wrong with it, I hope you send it back- I would.

I think you will really like the new quad box! I ran an EZ on Level 3 stack with a VA duration box on 50% setting for about 30k. It ran great, never threw a code unless you crank the VA up to 100% before the motor is good and warm. Now I run a little different stack and made a plug to leave the VA at 50%. I use the other box to adjust on the fly from in the cab. I'm hoping the new turbo and exhaust will allow me to use the VA all the way without getting too hot.

I guess I misunderstood what Diesel Nut wrote... sounded like Quad tried to call me but PM'd instead. I didn't get any calls or a pm but I did get a automated letter on new info and their new boxes operators/install manual, looks real nice.
