Although those things are nice and give the warm fuzzies to many children. Today is special for a very different reason. If you were to go back in time. The holiday celebrated by most as easter, started over 2000 years ago. This day started as the celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus. The Savior. The reason for the season. So as you eat your candy and go to the easter egg hunts, Just remember the real reason for celebrating.
