Ron's Ram makes a great point. What time does this thing start? The only time I've seen is 7:00 for breakfast.

 Bickfords is about 15 minutes from the place and Scott told me last night the guy usually gets there around 8, does his prepping, and is ready to go by 8:30. We should have plenty of time for breakfast and only a short ride after that.

ron is asking about the drags on sunday , the gates usually open at 8 , racing starts at 9 , eliminations start at 1 , man i wish i could go ... put the BHAF on last nite and it has cleared up some of the smoke when everything is set on BROIL ... but my egt still pegs within 1/8 th mile of starting off .

those guys running down from boston area , we will be meeting at the rest area on 95 in attleboro at 6:30 am (in my dreams  ) and going to bickfords from there .

see y'all in the morning ...

Scott, I need to last minute cancel. I got T-boned by some kid in a stolen car. Thank god it was not the truck, but it was my friends Audi A4.

I called N. E Dragway today about the diesel nationals on Sunday,9/30/2001. The gates open at 8:00 A. M. , racing starts at 9:00. Cost is $10. 00. Is anyone interested in a caravan up there? I'll probably leave my house around 6:30 A. M. if I don't hear from anyone else. I'm 3 minutes from 395, and about 25 minutes from 290 & Mass. Pike in Auburn Ma.

Dyno Day!!

Today was a success, for me anyhow... . I got to meet all the kind folks that are involved with the Northeast edition of the TDR, what a crowd!

MoparMuscle made 412rwhp... ... . and a guy with a red 24-valve dually QC made 355rwhp (dude, I'm terribly sorry... . I'm horrible with names... thanks for the beer, though!). We also saw Mactruck's 24-valve QC make 317rwhp with just a Comp Edge box... .

My truck made 139. 9rwhp(349ft/lbs @ ~2100rpm... using the hp/tq calc. )... . not bad for a bone stock 160hp truck with no BOMBs and over 160k on the clock. I can't wait to start making more soot! Many thanks to all who attended and answered questions, and watched me smile from ear to ear when the soot started flying!! (My jaw hurts from talking so much!!)

See `ya soon!

Matt - and on the 7th day, he made diesel.

P. S. As you can barely see... . my graph shows 139. 9hp! Darn vBulletin... only allows 400x400pixels... . grrr!

holeshot , that wasn't mactruck , like you said horrible with names . that 317 was by JES (??) white 2wd 2001 2500 , he's the guy from the LEFT COAST ... i just talked to massdiesel and he told me that , very impressive for that little turbo and stock injectors.

my corrected by the program was 409. 6 hp , glad i finally made it to the 400 club .

the red dually was ramshead3437 , that was a good number , he's still chasing me :D :D .

Did you dyno both air filters you mentioned you were going to try? Just curious is all. Glad to see your in the 400 club, I am hoping I got enough to put up that number or better as well. What turbo do you run currently?

WOW

WOW man, amazing what these boxes do. I'm stock aside just the 4" exhaust and my readings were 163. 6 rwhp, plugged in the edge ez and went to 216. 5 that's a 52. 9 just with the box, then went for a ride with it and came back with :D :D The guy from left coast JES(??) couldn't stop noticing my :D :D and asked me if my jaw was hurting. Let me tell you something when I saw him doing 317 just with that edge comp box I was totally amazed and of course now :D :D :D :D :D Thank God Santa Claus is coming to town. Scott are you listening?

By the way Holeshot aren't you glad I convinced you to know where you where so you will know where you want to be?

Turn out was great and yes we met some real nice folks, thanks to all and Batman for letting me try his edge ez.

See ya all next time if not sooner, Fred.

IT was a great time. Mike Dez is going to need a shop-vac to clean all of the soot off the floor, especially after Scott got through with his runs:D :D :D

Why can't gasser engines be as easy to get HP from as the diesels.

thanks to all

I would like to thank all of you that attended the first get together that was setup by Massdiesel. As I can speak for myself and the short time Mopar Muscle was there we enjoyed all your attendence very much. We enjoy the performance end of this bussiness for the fun but we absolutly enjoy the company of all the tdr members and their spouses(they put up with our bullsh?t and cold) for the goodtimes that we all enjoy getting together occasionally finding out whats new and what others have done and have a goodtime with some good pepole and meet new freinds from all parts of the country also have a ton of laughs, caravans, meals. So from Massdiesel to all who attended we thank you so does Dez racing and guess what we get to do it in the morning one more time and I have a feeling Mopar will be at the track he sounded like he was coming tonight. Also to the others that couldn't attend or had to leave due to personal issues or other reasons we hope all situations turned out ok.

Scott

P. S we are meeting at 730 at golden fork in franklin at exit 16 first then hauling up to the denny's in andover as mention by Mopar by the big cinema their on the south bound side is a denny's at 830 for chow we need to feed the big guys in the group before they can play.

Yeah, from now on... until I get people's name's right... . I'm just gonna call out their trucks... that's easier to remember... . unless of course you have an easy screen-name like Batman and FRodrigues, VeeTenJeff, etc... .

Like I said earlier... I had a blast... as if you couldn't tell from the constant ear-to-ear smile on my face and 'kid in a Costco sized candystore' mentality..... :D :D :D

Fred, I'm SOOOOO glad you convinced me to shell out the cash for the dyno runs... . for what little hp I made... it sure puts things into perspective as far as where I 'thought' my power was/is and where it 'falls off' on the RPM range... .

I was REALLY TEMPTED to take my AFC housing off and push my plate forward when I got home... . but I must be patient.

See some of you tomorrow, and the rest of ya'... . keep in touch!

Matt

 Folks, it was very nice meeting all of you yesterday. Sorry I wasn't able to stay. My wife called with car problems and she was between a rock and a hard place... . a ton of things to do and no car do do it with. But that's another story... .

Hope to see you all again... .....

I thought George was going to post pics? I had a great time and was glad to meet more people and see different things on different trucks. Lets see if my memory for names is better. James had the red dually with 355 hp and the tail gate party and Jim was the guy from the left coast who I missed run in his white 4x2. I need to do more tweeking and I can't wait to do something like this again. Matt, glad to see you were influenced to part with the money. Until next time.

It was great to meet up with a few more of our TDR friends. I have to thank Batman for letting me try his rig with the DTT goodies, DDII's and the EZ. I'm sort of Bummed I didn't get a chance to Dyno the truck but I was Psyched to walk away with an EZ I bought from Massdiesel. (Scott, You should have never let me try it :D LOL) I just have to keep it away from my girlfriend ;) I'm sorry I had to split early but it was an EZ drive back (hint, hint);)

Great to meet up with you guys again... ... . so whens the next one

George will be coming up pretty soon, you have to excuse him, he's a little slow:rolleyes: He is in desperately need in one of those HX35-40 things that go under the hood to make him a little faster:p I think that maybe massdiesel may have the answer to his dilemma.

Sorry Batman but I had to let the cat out the bag.
