I am going to have to agree with "jwilliams3" and "Amish Elegance" on this "new" Banks Drag Truck; if that is what it is.

IF and WHEN it runs it had surely better have more power than that Banks LSR truck did when it ran against the Bentz Dragster at the "ATS Truckfest" in 2003 and LOST! AND,... ... ... it also better have MORE than 650 H. P. which is what old Gale says that Duramax Road Race Truck has! However, in the recent article in the September Issue of "Diesel World Magazine" on page #70, Gale Banks is quoted as saying; "The Banks-Engineered Duramax racing engine is intentionally limited to 650 H. P. and 800lb. ft of torque to reduce the frequency of mechanical difficulties even though the Type-R uses the drag proven G-Force five speed transmission. " Yeah,... ... . they broke the rear end in this truck! Gale Banks also said the truck has made much more H. P. on the dyno. Well,... ... . if you can't "put it to the ground" what good is it? Does anyone here really think his drag truck is going to have LESS problems??
Also, does anyone here (besides COMP 461) think that this drag truck will really give Keating some competition and with NO SMOKE??? Leave Keating out of the mix and what about the following DHRA Pro-Street Trucks: Garmon,
Morrison, Stuckey, Perry, Spruill????? I'll tell you guys what, old Gale Banks has his work cut out for him and personally, "I will believe it when I see it!"
FWIW, Greg Hogue (COMP 461) sent me a P. M. earlier today and basically told me that if Banks fielded the truck he would beat anybody that he ran against! WOW!!!

My question to that P. M. from Hogue is: "Will Greg Hogue (COMP 461) be driving the Banks Drag Truck next year???" Inquiring minds want to know. Greg,... ... ... . any comments on this???? Greg,... ... are you there???... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... . GREG!!
