On the right of the guys picture was a link to why he was so Pis***..... Did any one get a chance to check it out... . I got the home page like 3 times and each time I tried the link got kicked off... . BTW I'm not complaining I would be more than happy to pat the team on the back for such quick repair of this sight... ... . they do a great job... . just sort of wondered what set the guy off... .

The Basic "gist" of the Hack was to kind of like "Hah! I got in here", and then a reference to being able to get all of personal data. It was all untrue as Steve and Robin pointed out. I followed the link (which was dead one when I tried it) and have all the original text (none of which bears repeating). All I can say is Steve and Robin did a stellar job taking care of it and fast. I hope they find the little 13 year old punk who did it!

so track down the scum sucking dog that can't behave hisself and post who he is on the TDR. A few of us can have a little diesel rally and give him a little bit of an adjustment, then maybe he will be a little more up front and friendly with his posts.

Based on what happened it is VERY doubtful that it came from anyone on our site or related sites. This was a high end attack. I posted further information on what happened here - https://www.turbodieselregister.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=832576#post832576 . The way these attacks were done there's no practical way to trace it back to the source. It would cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to do it (FBI estimates) and that is way out of our league.

I hate to say it but DKayser may be right about this being someone from another site.

I mean in college i had friends that could do this stuff with their eyes blind folded, but who is to say.
