The smell of leather?

OK,



All you Laramie owners out there ... . I need your input about the odor of the new combo leather/vinyl interior in our trucks.



I find the odor of the interior, when closed up for several hours, to be offensive to my olfactory senses. Perhaps its just my 'old-factory' senses, but I had hoped a new leather interior would smell much nicer than this truck. I even park with the windows open so I don't have to deal with it (garaged of course )

My friends say it smells new, and it doesn't bother them.



Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this odor, or if my truck has a problem?

But seriously, I liked the smell of the new leather, but I didn't notice anything super strong. Maybe try some leather conditioner, there may be some deodarants in it that may be more to your liking.

I love the smell of leather mixed with Diesel in the morning!!! (Hopefully there are some Apocalypse Now fans out there)



Seriously... . if the odor is bothering you, try using a leather cleaner/conditioner. I've been using Meguiers new Foaming leather cleaner and it smells really nice.

Smells find to me. Maybe your olfactory senses are just to sensitive. Mine want have the new smell much longer if I keep farting. Maybe you will have to drive around with one of them masks on your face. You could always let a kiddie cat baptize it. As you can see I ain't much help.
