Don't Just Blame Clinton, There Are Others

I don't have any use for Clinton:eek: but he didn't invent, manufacture or directly sell the products. There are American businessmen who are mercenaries and will do ANYTHING to make a buck:eek: . Want proof? Just look at the fuel price gouging:mad:

God bless our people and the rescue crews who are laying their lives on the line right now:)

I am anti clinton myself BUT, when they new where this scumbag (it's the harshest thing I could come up with, without cussing) was holed up, Clinton, of all people, wanted to go blow his butt up and after a long heated session, CONGRESS said NO. If Congress had let Clinton fly the birds two years ago, we would not be havving this discussion right now. It is the only thing I can think of that Clinted wanted to do right. He actually would have been an unknown Hero so to speak. Hard to imagine. . .

WyoJim,

I don't think it's right to politicize this tragedy. I was encouraged during Bush's campaign when he pledged to take a stronger stance against Middle East based terrorism. He obviously had knowledge (possibly from daddy) that our intelligence community needed some beefing up. It should have not taken him 9 months to began correcting the deficiencies. In stead he is playing politics, spending time and resources on such things as immigration amnesty. :(

One thing is clear to me - as much as we exulted at the low loss of life and materials related to our military involvement in Iran, Iraq and similar spots - what goes around DOES "come around" - and undeniably, this current disaster is at least in part, a direct payback by terrorists for our actions in those places - what our military did not pay for on those battlefields is now being extracted from our private citizens on our own soil - women and children...

IF indeed, some of our activities in those foreign countries WAS directly related to evasive/diversion of US public attention by Clinton to shift public attention away from his personal sex scandals, we as a nation have paid a heavy price for his lousy sense of morals...

So much for the "Clinton legacy" - tell it to those lost and injured in New York and DC... :(

While I was not the biggest Clinton supporter, you cant claim him because technology we develop eventually gets spread around the world. -- Its been going on for years, and it will keep happening. If it was not Clinton it would be who ever else is elected.

This article says we gave them spread spectrum technology, we gave them fiber optics, bla bla bla..... Well spread spectrum technology may have been originally designed for the military, but it has been used in commercial products that we use daily for many many years. Like our cordless phones for example. Lots of models use SST in them. The one I have does. Same goes for fiber optics, and so on. How much of the underground wires that bring you cable TV, and so on is Fiber Optic. Lots of it.

I am against the sale of state of the art technology that our government is only just created.

However I am for the general migration of technology. Meaning companies develop it in top secret for the military, then it finds its way to commercial products that US companies make. Then we get Hong Kong to make them cheap so we can all buy them for $50. There is a point where this kind of technology is available to the world.

For me its like the gun control issues. Guns dont kill people, people kill people. This technology did not kill anyone. Terrorists did. Any we cannot stop them from having the same technology that we use and buy every day for our daily lives.

Excuse me, but I have these ongoing occurences of FACTUAL historical events. In fact, Bill Clinton was informed of the opportunity to "dispatch" Bin Laden, and denied the request. No, not my imagination, but news as reported today by Paul Harvey.

This occurred during willies second term.

I have a great deal of disgust for the politicalization of this horrific event, but bull**** will not go un-challenged.

This is not an event which will go away in a few weeks. This is a war, and those of you who depict it in casual terms will regret your decision to regard it as such. You will be forced to sacrifice personally, and you will have personal responsibility for the results of it's outcome, just like those of us who never lower our guard. No more finger pointing, no more blaming statesmen. A real chance to mature and touch the spirituality that drives drives this great country.

Rush Limbaugh said some very poignent words today. He warned against giving up any of our freedoms for the security of this nation. Think about it. Which freedom would you be willing to give up? The strength of this nation IS IT'S freedoms! That's what this is all about! Everybody wants to be like us, but they don't trust their own citizens!

Hang tough, re-load and be ready. We have the chance to make this world a lot better.

Wish the president your best.

Give blood.

Go to church a pray. It works.

Ron ( sixty five and willing to serve again)

Yeah blame Clinton, tell me how George W would have done it different.

I thought all Cummins owners were smart,I guess not. .

Must be gun toater= Clinton haters. .

Oh yeah Rush Limbaugh is someone to listen to. . NOT

Yeah I know about the report, but even Trent Lott said the information that the president has was unfounded and of a second hand nature, they could not backup the information,so he decided not to go with it.

Dodgeboyz,

I can only assume that you are a Clinton fan, anti-gunner and Rush hater. You shouldn't be surprised to find that you're in the minority here. Differing points of view are always welcome. Keepss things lively and interesting.

The thing is though, in the future you'll have to do a much, much better job of representing your views. Tweren't much in your post to sway me.

You are totally right about the Clinton fan,but im not going to even try to discuss this issue, it will get no were,I should have just kept my mouth shut and left it alone,I usually know better.

More power to ya. .

Different points are always welcome even if they are pointless.

Dodgeboyz, you have all the right in the world to speak your mind, even if it is empty.

Don~

How tell if you are talking to Dodgeboys.....

Jesse Jackson makes sense to him.

Barbara Streisand makes even more sense to him

He will attribute every minority problem to entrenched, institutional racism and the legacies of slavery and segregation.

He thinks AIDS is spread from insufficient funding

He believes that homosexuality is genetically determined, but fascism and spouse abuse aren't.

He thinks marriage is obsolete... except for homosexuals

Instead of Cowboys and Indians he played Barbaric Imperialists and Innocent Native Americans

He thinks sexual harrassment is rampant, date rape pervasive, domestic violence common, and Paula Jones is lying.

He would like to legalize cocaine but outlaw handguns

He thinks the NRA helps criminals, while the ACLU protects the innocent.
