well this has to be the most practical and efficient use of a truck i have seen. not to mention the fun factor!

great job

runs in the 12's and plows snow. dont think there is anyway to top that.

congratulations on a fine truck.

NAWWW no no no

THE BEST EVER

Hangin out at Johns house and we decide to take a buddy for a rip in the truck. Normally when you want to show off you bring that person only riiight.

Nope John hops in and says "C'mon let's go" O. K Me, Brian, the wifey, And John of course go for a ... . Ahem BLAST. In 4 High We spool up for a full on drag pass with 5 people in the truck A/C on and stereo crankin. The Brake comes off and the Big Ol BFGoodriches (All four) Are barking / And compalining for traction and we hop off down the road with people working in their yard looking on in horror as they don't quite understand what they just witnessed. Smoke creating a roadblock and all you see flying by are 5 stooopid smiles LOL!!!!!!!

Gotta love the story about snowman's wife leaving the house with the comp box turned off and returning with it on 5x5.

Great truck and some of the nicest people you could ever meet as well!

Ive had absolutely no problems with the truck going sideways at all. In fact I intentionally left the spreader out when plowing just to see how it did, since its just a 5 mintue ride to put it in. On the 28th of Jan we got a foot of snow, the truck went sideways once, when i pushed into a frozen bank, that was it,and it was very gentle it came right back. dont forget the snow the wing is handling ,most if it is moving already off the front blade,so its no big deal to push it an additional 4ft or so. The truck pushes like a beast, the DTT trans being the best improvement i made to it for pushing snow. I had a boss 9'2V on it for 3 yrs,the blizzard 810 is a huge improvement. I was waiting for them to get the bugs worked out of them, and this yrs model is the best yet. Ive got about 75-90 hrs on the blizzard/sidewing and love then both.

John,

I just watched American Choppers last night with the Jet's bike. What's up with those guys owning a 6. 0 Ford? Are they wishing they got a Cummins yet or are they happy with it? Sweet truck you have there by the way.

And it was interesting to see the trailer come undone form the hitch. Good thing the chains held strong. I think Big Paul has a thing for fords.

Come on now Gene:p ;) :D

I'll let Johnny D(Snow Man) tell you what my truck's capable of:--)

Nice write up John!!:D

I figured I'd come on over here!

For those of you that don't know me, I'm not a brand basher, just a Dieselaholic!!!:D

Someone, anyone, I wanna know! What are the current HP/Torque numbers of this bad boy?

And Dockboy, what kind of numbers does your PSD put down?

Nick

Greg. never thought Id see you here! welcome! Gregs truck is no joke, even if it is a FORD:D . Its got to be one of the hardest working trucks out there. I also know it is quite a good running truck as well.

Nick,

My fastest 1/4 so far is 13. 79 @ 100. 3 mph on #2 only. Truck wieghs 8045 lb. with me in it. ;)

I haven't been on a dyno since last spring. It did 363 rwhp @ 742 ft/lbs. then, but I've done quite a bit to it since :D Should be right around 430-440 right now.

I know it's not the hp you guy's are getting:--) But I have fun anyway:D
